Q   Does  the  saw blade sharpener  sharpen  the  face and top of the  carbide  tip  on
the blade or just the face?

You can sharpen only the face of the tooth with the US-550 PRO universal sharpener
like a tooth on a router bit is sharpen only from the face, never from the top (profile). In
this way the  geometry  of the tooth will not be changed.  Sharpening  this way  is fast
(100 teeth  saw  blades  take  less  then 5 minutes )   and  each  saw  blade  tooth  can
be sharpened  approximately 10 to 15 times,  depending  on  the thickness  of the
carbide ( look at picture).
